Default Mtx shifter in rs turbo pic please

Anyone got a pic of the position of the shifter mounted in either the mk3 or mk4 please? I want to paint the underside of the car but don't want to do it until I've welded a plate with threaded inserts over the original hole! I've got the shifter but not the cables yet so can't see the correct position.
Thanks

I hope these help mate, the way I did it was I sat the gear selector in place then fixed centre console into its original holes, positioned selector to where I wanted it to sit, removed console and drilled n fixed selector into place.

Can you still keep the centre console with the mtx gear selector?

No not in standard form no but slightly modified because of the lift up reverse yes! Nothing is a straight forward fit, mtx wasn't made for these cars, need to roll the sleves up n make it fit fella. 👍
