got mondeo mk3 callipers struggling with bolts
following the guide on this forum
today picked up mondeo mk3 callipers and new pads, just need to get focus st170 discs.
im struggling with the spacer and the bolts, there isn't much information on this.
i read 12mm is need is that right?
don't know anything about the bolts so would really need some help
it will be going on standard 15" escort turbo turbine wheels with some grinding hopefully

I struggled with this you will need a 12mm spacer you need to drill out the hubs and you need m12 Bolts that are 10.9 grade minimum don't use 8.8's
Sure I started a thread on this I ordered 50mm long sicken head bolts and cut them down to 40mm come from ebay

The spacers are basically 12mm thick washers.
They sit between the caliper carrier and the hub.
If you offer up the discs, then slide the caliper onto the disc, you'll see a gap where the bolts go.
You'll also need to grind down the calipers if you are using standard wheels.

great that has helped a lot, as i was looking at 12mm spacers on ebay which seemed to bring the wheel out if you know what i mean, now i know they are 12mm washers that helps loads. and fit between the hub and calliper.
so i can look for these now, i also understand i must drill the hub holes out to 12mm as thats what the mondeo callipers are.
and i now understand i need M12 bolts that are 40mm long and 10.9 grade in strength
are these blots ok: LINK
also if I'm using the standard 15" wheels and shaving off the areas I've found in a guide, will it be weakening the callipers??? the ridges on metal that protrude strengthen metal, and I'm concerned about this.
maybe a wheel space might be a good idea bringing the wheel out a little to save grinding the calliper?? then all i need is longer wheel bolts.
let mew know, i need your help guys as i going to do a step by step guide with photos for others here on using the standard wheels with this conversion if you want to help

No you don't need wheel spacers or Hub spacers just a 12mm think piece of material to bring the caliper Central over the st170 disc
Those bolts are perfect for the job try doing a search on here as me and matty325 had a meal getting bolts
Fyi there's a guide with pics but for a puma I think
