Transit connecte starter motor
Bought a connect starter motor and it doesn't fit my rst gearbox?
Are there 2 types as this appears to be a zetec starter?
Will I need a tddi, tdci or something else?

The mounts on this are totaly different 2 would line up but it fouls the exhaust and 1 (the very front one) is about 10-15mm too long

I bought one for mine and during my mates rebuild his starter was a little lazy like my own , so fitted it to his to see what it was like . The difference was like night and day , I didn't think it would make much difference but it's great . Well worth the money

Turns out the one the bloke was advertising
1S4U-11000-AA
Is ford a mk1 focus but will that fit a connect as I know there the same underneath?
The Lucas once I've been sent apparent will fit a transit connect and it's 2.2kw "long version" according go Lucas parts online but I just can't see it fittin with the exhaust
