Default Turbo conversion

I'm doing a turbo conversion on my mk5 1.3ohv escort, fuel supply, what do I use for tank/pump set up on her?

Has anyone done one before?

Would be an intank EFI pump mate, the Escos one or Fiesta Turbo one should do the trick here.

Cheers, do you think that would fit into the standard tank sender hole or replace the whole tank?

Any help appreciated? Am struggling with the fuel supply.

Read about a mk5 van had a fiesta rest fuel tank fitted but unsure how that works as filler necks are on different sides of the car if I'm not wrong

The xr3i / rs2000 tank would probably bolt straight in

Trying that, no one wants to post and post is to dear etc. I've a old erst tank, I could use the pump feed from that tank and weld it to my tank and rub s2 pump. Obviously not when it's fitted to the car tho

That's what I'll do. Just wasn't sure as my car has a mechanical fuel pump on the block would a pump fit in the my tank. I'll only have the sender unit in there

hmm i thought that it would of been a electronic pump, if it is a mechanical pump then you will have to change the tank as your tank wont have a swirl pot+ the sender will be different and you will also have to have a fuel pump relay wired in.

I have a erst tank and pump here, I tried it up earlier, the bolt fixings on the side look to line up so all I have to do it get the tank strap to fit then mount the pump.

Or

If I cut the pump feed pipe off the erst tank and weld it onto the standard tank then mount the pump.

I've a s2 mfi loom and that will have the fuel pump relay on it

That will work your just going to be missing the swirl pot in the tank which would be a problem if your low on fuel.
