I have s2 with a Airtec rad twin fans but the fans only kick when it's really hot but then the header tanks starts to let go
So one is it getting it hot or two is the tank not hold pressure? The tanks after market alloy tank

going sideways in a fwd
you could try adding a manual fan switch and see if earlier switching helps
, some temp switches can be manually set ,
kenlowe make 1
you can purchase lower opening point switches,
the number of degrees you have at present , is usually stamped on the side of switch
I cannot comment on header tank other than other pressure caps may be available
