Default Track car question

A question for the people running a trackcar:

What did you do with the black plastic covers in the holes of the bodywork. I mean the floor onces. I guess without the carpet they will fly around the car.

Will glueing them be fine or best to weld all holes nicely?

Metal tape over any holes you don't need.
