I'm after a new ignition coil, the circular thing near the battery that the main ht lead goes to.

can't seem to find the right one, ideally a ford or bosch one, ford themselves can't advise.

the ignition coil i see on matt lewis motorsport website does not look like my device

i got a diesel started motor which i was advised to fit and she starts much better and quicker so a decent upgrade would be great for ignition coil

can anyone else help?

he sells a group A coil for rst, i sold nos bosch last week
i have tons of standard rs parts in excellent working order

Why not? They just need your VIN and they can order the right coil for your car. Any other similar coil will also work.

the coil looks nothing like my ignition could. mines like a loo roll shape, this is a small device on his site.

The GRP A is an 'uprated' item, in that it produces a stronger spark.

You should be able to source the standard item easily enough, there is nothing unique about it, any Ford coil would work (as they use there own connectors, others including the former use 'spade' connections)

The only thing that may differ is the output power.
