Default Old fuel

My RS has been sitting for a while at least 18months fitted new turbo started up fine no probs ticked over lumpy and when I reved it it tried to cut out could it be old fuel ??

My RS was not moved for 2 years and drove fine on that old fuel so my guess is that something else is your problem.

Stale fuel would probably cause problems on boost but not at idle. I ran my cortina on stale fuel for shunting it about and it smoked but that was about it. I'd say air leak. Is it Mfi? They're renowned for it.

Yeah it is mfi where should I look for air leaks

Iv just had a look round everything and the only thing I can see is I have one injector that is looser than the others there is very slight movement in all of them but one is more so would this b causing any problems and can you still get the seals needed
