setup questions
So today i went for a setup in the netherlands ( 330 km round trip ) for my escort rst , still on mfi
first thing is , is it possible to have the fueling correct for 0.6bar and 0.7 at the same time?
he didn't touch the fuel system ( except for the idle fueling ) and said it was all good.
timing was set to 10 degrees.
2nd thing , my newman phase 4 was adjusted with a piper vernier pulley, what i couldn't help but notice was he didn't even take of the rocker cover ???
set the piston at tdc by taking out the first sparkplug and adjusted the vernier to theorignal little mark on the cilinderhead.. he said i was best to dail it at factory settings.
I thought you were suposed to dail it in with a degree circle at the crank and a meter thingy at the valves?

Sounds like someone doesn't know what they are doing.
Timing a high lift cam to standard marks won't help at all.
There is not enough ignition advance.
With .7 bar of boost it's pretty pointless doing anything uprated you would want more boost to make to most of it.
