Battery Dead ..???
Work away, so RS not touched for 5 weeks at a time...
Disconnect the negative from the battery every time I leave and during the summer had no probe starting when I returned...
Notice around October that had to jump start once or twice but then ran / started no problem
Yesterday had to jump start....went for a 10-15 mile drive ( nice weather ) ... back into the garage, switch off... try restarting.."click", nothing !!!!
Onto trickle charger.... 2mins later showing full charge.. ????
Radio, lights, auxiliaries seem ok...
Thanks for any input..

With it running make sure you've got 14.5ish volts across the battery. But yes, sounds like a knackered battery.
An unused battery actually prefers cold weather, however what usually kills them in the winter is the extra load from cold cranking and heavy use of electricals like lights, wipers, heater etc that all take their toll on the electrical system.
