Default mlr rst quickshift

Anyone used one of these matt lewis shifter plate kits? I understand the b&m unit still being the best thing for rst selector improvement but do they still offer a slight gain?

Cheaper to use the puma linkage mate and probably better than the plate. Search it on here I think there may be a guide too.

Matt lewis kit keeps the self centring i think whereas the puma linkage does not...

Was looking last night on the xrtwo and there is a cheap spring and a bracket for the puma conversion that will self centre it when on,

Rally Design kit is also very good, about £50 last I bought one.

We need a definitive guide for puma linkage... Ive tried it a couple times n nothing lines up!

Do you not just re-drill the holes? I didn't think anything did line up lol

All I did was fix it on the gearbox side,lift it up and mark the holes at the lever end, then drill them and put a nut n bolt through them. It sits about 10mm further back than the original but you cant tell once the gator is back on. One of tge cheapest and best mods I've done.

Got one this delivered this morning from the bay for 24 quid, anythings an improvement over the porridge spoon shifting ive got at the moment

Yeah i'm tempted to try the rally one but the price did put me off at first but if you say its worth a go... then i'll give it a try one day.

It really is as simple as this (plus sorting out a return system for neutral - again not hard).
