airtec or grs intercooler ???
Hi all, as title really, which is the best cooler to use on a s2 rs turbo? Anyone have any previous experience with either one ?

Both are very good,i removed my grs and upgraded to the airtec 500 style one for my s2 ,works great

GRS, was proven at some point that it had one of the best low temps for front mount. God knows where i read it, probably a old ff magazine. I can't comment on the rs500 style airtec but originally the airtec front mount was the cheaper option for people wanting a front mount when they first got released and have sold well but i don't know if that means they actually any good compared to the rest of the competition out there like forge,pace,grs etc.

On my act gauge my charge temps are now lower, with the airtec in place

New rs has got a airtec cooler had the grs as well both seem good coolers

That is pretty Hench cooler twins. I was tempted to go same route.. hows the lag compared to the grs.

Cheers guys, looks like the airtec is a good choice . do you have to trim the back of the bumper ? Mine is an 88 spec

Grs used to be the one to have but as twins have said air charge temps have been proven to be lower on the airtec although never used one myself only used radtec or grs

i used an airtec one on my s2 and for the money the build quality is ace and it worked and fitted perect
