oil leaking through distributor
Hello
I have had an oil leak on my RS MFI for a while now (since ownership) and Jano helped pinpoint it as the distributor O ring seal when i popped over (300miles) to see him for a setup. He explained how to take apart the distributor, score it with a blade against the head to to put it back in the correct place.
The O ring was only £1.10p from Burton power just down the road. I thought this would cure the problem but still im getting oil leaking. Ive placed cardboard under the hot engine and it is dripping from below the distributor area. And ive taken it apart again with oil still leaking into the dizzy cap.
Are there anymore seals in this distributor that anyone can help me with.
Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me, i lost the note i made on my phone of the names of the washers to sort the dizzy. I was going to contact you soon to remind me of them as i thought you would be busy or away for the christmas period, as i also want to get the bonnet secure thing you mentioned as a precaution to the bonnet flying up, and a drivers electric mirror as the one i got is a replacement from halfords and looks so magnified when looking into in compared the the passenger. So those 2 bits id like to get from you. Also the mercury grey bonnet if you want to sell it???

In your first post you said that Janno had explained how to take the dizzy apart and what to replace, so i thought you had done that lol.
As Janno said, the fibre washer is the one that allows oil into the dizzy.
The o ring just stops the oil coming out of the head.
