Default Mk4 interior door handles...

As we all know these have a tendency to scratch, flake and generally look a bit naff.

So who has done what with theirs? Pics please

Decided to dig up this old thread as I just painted my door handles, however the shade of grey I used dried too bright. So I thought I would try them black, but it just doesnt look right.

Does anyone have any pictures of theirs fitted and the shade of grey you used?

cheers.

.

I trimmed a set in black vinyl years ago to go with my black and red leather which looked good, i'm gonna do the same to the ones for my rwd S2 but i'm going to try and remove some grey door card vinyl and use that as it'll match better.

I've tried painted ones and they don't quite look right without the textured effect.

Go to your local bodyshop paint supplier ,they will mix up the colour you need in to a rattle can may also get a mottle effect there to get the right texture
