Little update - been busy with work but been picking up bits and bobs

ITG Panel filter so keep OEM box.

Oil presure gauge with a holder - need sensors

Boost gauge - have a few of these and think this is broke as not sitting at zero but came with a holder for a dash mod Im going to do

CVH valve compressor. Should come in handy soon enough

Oil breather - this is the wrong but so its for sale - im sure it could be universal fit

Injector plate - stripped down, changes injector seals, cleaned out and few coats of metalic paint. I have the lines on the wrong way around - DOH!

Bit of an update - does not look like much but good few hours gone into it.

Started cleaning up the nasty casting marks. You can see that half of this one is done. So far I have taken down most of the rough edges and removed all the manky carbon build up

I also stripped down the rocker cover. Primed her. Sanded her and two coats of Ford Sea Grey. Its the same as the paint on the body work. Still needs another rub down and then clear coat.

Signed the contracts for the new house so should have the keys in the next few weeks which means I can pull the shell out of storage get her into my own garage and start building her back up.

Hi all,
been a long time since I posted in this so I thought Id give a little update. Well some of you might know that I bought a house last March. It was built in the 60's and in serious need of work. The RS was safe in storage as this was a priority. The plan was to knock a load of walls, fit loads of steel, insultate the bejasus out of it, rewire, new plumbing, plaster every wall, new doors, floor kitchen and lots lots more. The wife and I moved in just before Xmas and have the place pretty cost with the final home straight now in sight, ie floor down stairs, kitchen and snagging. The garage will be getting the treatment also and plan to take the roof off in the next week or so. Then I can get the RS in and start the fun on that. I have manged to collect even more parts in the meantime ( dont tell the wife!). The work in the house was all done by myself, the wifes dad and a couple of his work contacts. Hopefully next time I post in here it will be a pic of the RS coming home.
When I bought it

do the outside first its quicker to put to all together outside then frees up some storage space.
or do the inside, can be down in about 4 hours, carpet seats, lining, and dash

Been a while since I updated this. Not much has happened as I only get a few hours a week on it and everything takes me ages to do. Good news I have decided to go efi and started to pick up the hard ware. Still need ecu and injectors. Next up is brake and fuel lines. All comments welcome..... Be nice!

Yea I have material that I pulled off seats and door cards. I think twins on here might have some fresh off a roll to sell.

Been a long time since I updated this. Have the suspension totally renewed on the right front and rear wheels. This included new shocks, springs, bushes, tie rods. Also fitted new brake lines and fuel lines. Fitted the rad and intercooler- if you look closely you can see the pace intercooler peaking out. Have an efi engine there and started to renew the parts for it. All going well il be dropping the engine into her in the next month. Need to get an engine crane for a weekend.
