I was just thinking about this...
Has anyone looked at Astra Diesel Alternators? They run a P/S pump on the back and look as though they'd mount up to a CVH bracket easy enough. Just need a power rack then!

Thats a vacuum pump mate , not a PAS pump.

lol

Hydraulic faps up the feel too. With electric you can switch it off for track work if you want.

I bought mine of ebay mate and it also has soft an hard adjustment on it which works a treat. It was very easy to fit

You can use Saxo as well but that's hydraulic I have corsa on the mk1

I no two people with electric power steering on cosworths using a merc a class set up that corsa set up is huge!

So if your car has non pas you just buy this corsa electric power steering set up with no need to change the steering rack at all then mod to fit?

Holy thread ressurection etc

I'm just looking for info on fitting the corsa B electric PAS, a popular conversion I'm told esp with "the rally boys"...has anyone on here written a guide or can anyone tell me how to fit one to a Mk4 escort? cheers
