Default S2 Polybushes

Looking at replacing all the standard bushes on my S2 for Polybushes.
The car is only used on summer weekends so not a lot of miles.
Would like to do the odd trackday in the future tho but maybe not.
Have seen full powerflex sets for about £250 but Floflex are half the price at about £130.
Would the Floflex be ok for my needs and is there a huge difference between the 2 brands.
Your opinions appreciated.

You can buy floflex a bit cheaper. They make every 1-2 weeks an action on ebay for the front set starting 0.99.. i won the front set last week for 33-34£, Then bought the rear so the total for me was 101-102£. I haven't received them yet, still waiting the pastage company...

At the end of the day m8 you get what you pay for!!! powerflex are far superior to floflex imo and a lot of other people's opinion's, floflex are ok for the money, superflex are also worth considering as they are slightly cheaper than powerflex

As above, I fitted a full set of Floflex's to my last XR2 and they seemed really good. I'd buy a set and make your own opinion if I were you.

I got floflex by mistake (sold as powerflex) for the rear of mine, fitment was terrible, sent them back and bought powerflex, difference is worlds apart and Id definately not recommend the floflex/deflex ones.

I have used flo-flex, powerflex and superflex. Flo-flex are cheaper but the construction quality is poor. Also the inner tubes are mild steel where in the superlfex and powerflex are stainless.

Powerflex and superflex are about the same quality, but I have noticed that the inner and outer wishbone bushes have inner and outer tubes and only superflex makes them with the outer and inner tubes. I think this is very important as the outer tube put the load onto the entire bush, while not having the tube put all the load in the part of the bush that contact with the wishbone.

Because of that for the wishbone bushes I only use superflex.

Default S2 polybushes

Thanks for your opinions people, very helpful.
I guess I better save for Superflex or Powerflex.

It this helps here are photos when I put the superflex ones in the rear of my car.

The inner bushes were hard as hell to get it out. I made a home tool with a piece of tube, two pieces of steel and one bolt and had to make a big effort, but finally the bush go out without problem. The outers are easier to get it out.
