In a black car I wouldn't use black after all.

Matt black goes funny as soon as you get some oil on it, my shitter mk4 is matt black, oil cap came off on motorway so bay is coverd, not bother bout that but had to jet wash with gunk then use solvents and repaint bonnet and bumper so I wouldn't for engine parts, its just such a pain if u get that one drip of oil on.

When I blacked my engine-bay in my cabriolet. I just wagged everything in VHT Black paint and satin black.. Looks alright and lasts....

I will be powdercoating shed loads of stuff under my bonnet in textured powder, not too sure what colour yet. Will begin blasting later this week, I shall keep you updated via my resto thread if you interested in the outcome
