300bhp, no sweat.
seriously ian howell used to run them to that power on his early zvh/zt builds. i'm running about the 300bhp marker on my zvh on standard rods (i'm on same spec as a guy running 318bhp), just don't be redlining them though, that's a beauty of a zvh, no point reving much over 6krpm. |

more than likely that is the case.
all i can say is that i'm running 21psi through my zvh and it's still running fine on standard rods, but as with a zvh you don't benefit from revving really hard. personally if i were to build another engine, then i'd be fitting steel H setion rods for piece of mind. |

ian howell will only gaurantee standard rods with arp bolts fitted upto 260 bhp , but has told me on many occassions that they are safe upto 280 bhp , then he recomends steel rods.

Shaun (Turboboss) off here with the massive spec ZVH told me he ran standard rods at 330bhp for awhile.
But as stated by Crazycage - steel rods are cheap as fuck now, especially considering they come with £50 worth of ARPs.
