You have an air leak that some one has tried to mask by turning the co screw. Mine was a pipe on the back of the inlet manifold.

sprayed the inlet side with brake cleaner, no change in the engine speed or sound.
put the car on a gas anilyser and set the co and idle speed, sweet i thought. next time i go to the car it wont idle. turn it up and it runs fine, next time you go to it i revs up? strange eh? cold start sensor? |

you need to get it setup and have it tuned fella. If you dont know or understand how the system works you need to read a setup guide to help you.
