Default S2 sunroof drains leaks

hello, were do the front sunroof drains exits is it the sill? and how do i clear them cause i do believe there blocked (waxoil).

also does anyone know how to remove the fuse box so i can check for a leak there.

hi mate the front drains are a thick plastic pipe that run down the a-pillar and exit through a small hole on the sill.if your sills had welding done near the front chances are they may have been patched over.hope this helps but if not you could have a leak on the bulkhead above the fuse box or even from the front screen behind the rubber reason i say this is im currently restoring my rs and was leaking from both these areas.hope yours is a quick fix.

also found out today back ashtrays full of water!!!!!!

so being completely interior stripped tommorrow.

just take the roof lining out mate i think you might find the sunroof inner tray is rusted through,had this on a few of mine,with the one im doing at the mo i opted for a complete carbon fibre roof check them out at WWW.CARBONDELIGHT.COM, it does away with the whole roof 4 inches from the gutter,i weighed the original roof when chopped 23kg and the carbon one was 3kg.but you do have to have a rollcage for obvious stregthening reasons.
