Default RS Turbo S2 starting problems

I am getting electricity from my Coil to the Distributor and to the Spark Plugs. All the multi plugs, Cold start Valve, Thermo Time Switch etc are pluged in correctly. Engine is cranking very good but not starting. I am also getting fuel to the metering head but not from the pipes to the injectors. Fuel is going to the Cold start valve and to the return. I think i might need a metering head, any suggestions. I need help. CheeRS.

Air leak is what I would be checking for firstly, check all boost pipes, servo pipe, breathers, oil cap seal, also try removing the air filter and hold the flap down a couple of mm on the metering head while someone trys to start the car

You don't really need the cold start valve connected, many people including myself run with them unplugged

When i run a direct line from the Battery to the Cold Start Valve and crank up, the engine starts but dosen't idle because no fuel is reaching the engine from the Fuel Distributor. Could anyone tell me if i have an electrical problem, or if i need a Cold Start Valve or anything? I have been dealing with this problem for 5 months now, I need help. CheeRS.
My escort was not starting and was thinking must be electrical.
I had to change the metre unit on my rs
Is the fuel going through lines to the head.

Barbados??!!!
I bet you dont see many RST's over there? lol

But yeah as above really, check the basics.........
Fuel to injectors?
Spark at plugs?
Compression?

If you have all three then you should at least splutter!
Air leaks are a common problem but generally you'll fire up and then die, try holding the flap down (under air filter) a few mm this will force fuel flow to the injectors whilst cranking.

I suppose one thing you wont need to worry about with your RS Turbo being over in Barbados and that is rust With the weather probably hot 99% of the time and not that much rain most of the time your RS Turbo should be gleeming all the time? I've been to the Domincan Republic and the weather was amazing just hot all the time. In Scotland we get rain, ice and snow and it's not good for the RS Turbo's I keep my RS Turbo in our garage all the time and only really bring it out in the dry weather.
