does anyone run anti lag on there rst??do i have to be running efi?im thinking of going for gotech and was wondering if anti lag can be mapped in??is there many upsides or downsides?any help appreciated

upside, it's a great toy for showing off at shows/trackdays.

downside, it can eat your turbo if you use it too much without the correct turbo.

eventually i'll have it on my series 2 but stricly for showing off and clowning about. unless you're building a monster hill climb or similar competition car then it isn't really worth it in terms of performance gain but it's still fairly cool in my opinion.

iv got it set up on my scooby (it was on there when i bought it) and it is great for showing off but it comes in really handy when racing but my scoob is just a daily driver.i bought the rst for track and quater mile so want to try and run anti lag!but not sure if i can with gotech or if i need a diff efi??

I have it on my s1 and it is running gotech and its really if you have a bigger turbo like a stage 3 or t34 but must have a maram shaft preferable left handed, and the difference is it stops the lag so the car will boost upto 1 bar from 1500 rpm and then at 3500rpm or thereabouts the turbo will take over. when you back off the throttle or change gear it pops and fires through the exhaust like carzy, gotta be carefull in residential areas and the of the plods as its a defo section 59 noise act.
anti lag can be mapped but it can't be on closed loop lambda.
