If you go in the ST Parts you could buy a set of calipers, pads and discs from an st170. All you need is a couple of spacers that are 12mm if I remember correctly and drill the hubs out to accomodate the larger bolts.

By far the best pound for pound conversion for an rs turbo. Period

I'm sure Gadget off of here wouldn't mind you pm ing him for the exact sizes of the bolts and spacers.

It's a piece of piss to put together and is a million times better than the cossie conversions

the spacers i've bought are 12mm for mondeo mk3 calipers. Also i know that i need to drill the hubs to fit m12 bolts. i think standard bolts are m10..

It sounds like you already have everything bar the calipers. I'd imagine the calipers on the mk3 mondeo are the same as on the ST170 Focus.

I had this conversion on my car and it really does deliver mental braking power.

Get yourself a set of calipers and get them on there

The lad a couple of posts above has the mk3 calipers for sale. Get them bought as you have all the spacers and bolts etc

Mine looked like this when done.

I think the cossy one is 280mm and the mondeo and ST discs are 300 IIRC

I had the cossie conversion and the ST170 conversion on mine. The ST170 conversion pisses all over the cossie conversion. You can have the ST170 conversion for all in under Ł300 easy.

the mk3 mondeo's all have the same 300mm x 24mm discs from 1.8 all th way to the st220, same the calipers

the only difference is that the st 170 has 4 holes in the disc and the mondeo has 5

i've got the makings of an even huger disc conversion in the wings, just waiting for some metal to appear to make the spacer brackets up with

these will need 18's though

bty, i have a spare set of calipers but can't get shot of them for the reasons listed in the previous post

and now i think about it, you can fit asbo stoppers as a virtyal bolt of upgrade as well

the alloys how many inches are? Mine are 16''. Looks very nice!
Also calipers from mondeo mk3 are very easy to find. St170 calipers are rare and much more expensive....

They were 17" wheels in the picture. I do however believe that they fit under 16" wheels

For them to go under 16inch turbine (ST24 wheels) you have take off a few mm from the front of the caliper, not sure on other cars though
