on the air flow meter where the cold start valve is connected, that is removed and the fifth injector fuel suply comes from there. also on the side there is a spare nut which the cold start valve is relocated to. this is how mine is i can take some pics if you want but wont be for a few days as im not going up my unit.

I had that made, it atchualy goes off the outlet on the fuel filter then to metering head and then feed to injector on charge pipe. That way you keep the cold start valve as mine was an arsehole starting without it.

Makes no power, its just to stop det. Its not the best method out there as the fuel is not distributed to each cylinder evenly. If looking for big power, go efi and change management. But it worked on my car and I ran 25psi but its horses for courses, it boils down to money and what you can afford.

got one of these on my n/a 2.1 it has made a difference, but only becasue my mfi couldnt handle the amount of fuel it needed at higher revs! plus stops your engine burning out if its fueling wrong, think i should have about 5-6 bhp more, but thats just because i got the fuelin sorted! cost me 225 fitted.

It will allow you to run more boost so YES you will make more power once it's fitted and then setup on the R/R!

Or to save time you can just fit the 5th injector to where the blanking nut is in the first place

Way off the mark there mate...

The average metering units fuelling capacity tops out at around the 200bhp mark (some will do more and others less!) so to run more boost and as a result make more power you need to give it more fuel, this is why you fit a 5th injector.
It is generally fitted into the CC pipe and injects directly into your charge air as it passes (as in the photo above) and as a result DOES fuel all 4 cylinders evenly.
Your tuner will map it to your boost via a controller which will allow your fuel pressure to be turned down a bit (giving you better off boost economy and drivability) but still maintain the correct fuelling when under load!
IMO if wanting more power on MFi it's the only way forward!

You can use pretty much use any injector but will need the controller to run it.
I have one if you need it, brand new never been fitted still in it's box with instructions PM me if interested.

MF2's rock. You can get really nice driveablility and economy from Mfi with them on. I fit them to sub 200cars if the customer can get one one as you can cruise at 15:1.
