Default GAS STRUT BONNET CONVERSION

hi there,

i was just after some advice from people who have replaced there bonnet stay with a pair of gas struts to hold the bonnet up.

i was wondering which gas struts are mainly used and also if measurements can be given, including pictures, for where the struts are mounted etc.

thanks in advance

dave.

The bonnet strut from a mk1 leon is very strong would think it would work perfectly. Prob the same as an audi one.
