RS_Series2

Well after doing my first web site, the lancs group site, I decided that i'd have a go a putting something together specific for the Series 2 Database that I have been running through a photobucket account.

This is now complete and I have just been through the long task of adding all the pics to the new site (which now totals just over 700). There are a few new features with this site and hopefully with it being a specific site for the Database rather than just a photobucket account, it will be a bit better.

New Features Include:

* People can add their own pictures of their cars (past or present)
* People can update pics of their cars (still only one pic per car though)
* There is now a search function to make finding out if your car is already on the database easier
* If someone knows an 'unknown' car they can enter the reg for it themselves

The only task I've got left to do is add the 'unknown' cars that I have on my PC and add the few cars that have been waiting to add for a month or 2, I will try and get that done tomorrow

I bought this escort in 2006 i think from a dealers in Fife. The engine was knackered so it had to be replaced.

I sold her on in 2008 to a young guy from the Perth area. No idea of its fate now.

I had loads of pictures of her inside and out, but unfortunalty they where all on bebo, so all gone now

i have 2 remaining pictures, i will try and find them.

My mate owned H602 for a while and we were in Fife too, was a good going car once he had done the head gasket and a few other bits!

Can't remember what sort of mileage I sold it on, think it was about 60k. Was only about 30 when I got it in 1996, was a mint car, seemed to have all the options added. Think it was owned by an older lady iirc...

Yes a few quid had been spent. I had a folder full of reciepts, all old MOT, and original reciept from the purchase of the car as new. Hybrid turbo, lowered, intercooler, exhaust just a few of the things i can remember.

I think it had around 85k miles when i sold her on. They where not accurate miles as i had swapped the dash out for white dials, then put back in before selling, and i think that was at least the 3rd engine that i had put in.

Broke my heart to sell the car, but i was to young and she was costing to much money to keep on the road, need a new gearbox by time i sold her on, 5th gear was making a lot of noise

Had a fair bit of work done after me, I got it bog standard, but changed suspension (not as low as in the pics) K&N filter and MA Developments chip and put some extra gauges in.
