Default car wont turn on

Hi, my car dosnt start after i boot it. i have to wait like half an hour to turn it back on agen. Is this the starter motor playing up. Ive even got a heat shield. Im getting tired of push starting the car.

Sounds like the starter mate i had to change mine the other week for the exact same reason

would heat wrapping my zorst sort the problem out?

possibly, heat wrap the starter too you could also open the starter up and re-grease it as it's probably dried out

You get a Starter Heat Shield from burton power which costs about Ł35, but it does the starter a hell of alot good, also consider wrapping Exhaust wrap around you turbo manifold which will also stop the heat generating around the starter and also the engine by 70%

probably the bronze bush at the front of the starter is poked causing the rotor to touch the stator , easy enough to replace

i have not had problems with my turbo for 6 years now , but i did use 3m worth of heat bandage around the downpipe
