Default Boost Question

T28 Hybrid with GG chip etc. - 305 Conversion

1st to 4th Gear holds around the 1.3 bar mark which is right, but for some reason when you put it in 5th and put your foot to the floor, full boost seems to be holding on the standard boost gauge where it says turbo, how do you over come this?

is that higher or lower than 1.3, generally turbos produce more boost when they work harder, this is why they should be setup correctly by someone who knows what they are doing and so that when fully loaded the max boost level isn't exceeded, otherwise, lean, pop bang at 150+ mph

no no no, they are clever, but not that clever, they can only affect things that they have direct control of , mechanical limitations like max flow of injecotrs, turbo charecteristics, wastegate spring strength, engine condition ect can not be really acounted for, the chip can ajust teh fuellin gto a certain extent to maintain the emmsions to a certain extent, but it cant vary every aspect of the engine control to obtain optimium performance,

its a computer dont foget, garbage in = garbage out
