Who’s replaced their Recaro seats in their Escort Cosworths? (Or any Cossie for that matter). I find them lacking in lateral support under hard cornering, so use the steering wheel and my knees to support myself. I also want to install a five point harness for track days, so need to replace the seats which have proper slots in the top and sides for the belts. I’ve seen Cossies with four point harnesses, installed with the standard Recaros. This looks a bit unsafe, as the belts just sit on top of the Recaros, so look as if they will slip off the side in a heavy impact situation.

So what seats and belts have you upgraded to? I’m looking at a Corbeau at present, but am interested in what anyone else has done. I like the high sides for support.

I asked a similair Q a while back and nobody answered, I was looking at Recaro A8 seats as the normal leather seats are a bit too slidy, I prefer the Saff Recaros for support,hopefully someone will give you some advice mate

No they're cloth, and I haven't made up my mind if I want to change them yet.
