Problems..............
Right when i go to start the cos after its been sitting for a week it coughs & splutters for a few seconds, like its going to stall..........then its clears & ticks over perfectly. All day long she's fine, but try starting the following morning she does it again
Did have some idling issues to begin with but WD40 in the idle valve has sorted this...... Bit annoying but should it be a cause for concern
She doesn't miss a beat all day long though.
Also went shopping Saturday, upon my return to the car pack found a puddle of water under the engine Hasn't lost a lot but enough to start the alarm bells off.................. Checked the pipes, the water pump gasket etc but can't find a leak. Is there a specific hose which would be prone to getting a small nick etc that i should be looking out for??
Any opinions duly recieved!
Thanks
Jason

I've almost the same problem. When I try to start the Cossie she never starts up after the first try, she coughs and splutters and dies again. But she always fires up immediately on the second try. Maybe a dogdy fuel reg?

if its onlt when its been hot then cooled down, could be athe head gasket allowing water to leak into the combustion chambers, which would on first start up casue it splutter, this is what was wrong with mine, even though there was no oil/water mixing gonig on.
