If the intercooler goes as far forward as possible (I assume this mounts to the chassis legs), can the rad still bolt up to its original mounts ?? or will the rad have to be moved back and some different brackets made ??
I will get a big bag of cable ties !!

Well managed to fit the RADTEC intercooler in about an hour, went straight on !!, no extra brackets needed. Radiator could even still be bolted to its original mounts.
Looks excellent behind the black bodywork...........An excellent product !!

Hello mate, mine was fitted to a big turbo model and didn't have A/C. I believe they do a model thats specified for the A/C cars. Here is the chaps e-mail address (found him very helpfull) where i bought mine from.
Rapid-Ford <nats_1_uk@yahoo.co.uk>
I was very shocked how easy it was to fit, as i said previous, i even managed to fit the radiator back into its original mounts (slight elongation of radiator holes), which eliminated the need to make extra brackets.
Shouldn't think the big or small turbo differ that much in fitting.
Hope that helps !!

If this helps you out, this is what Daniel from Rapid ford sent me :
To fit either you need to remove rad and cooler, get the 2 orig mounting pins from Ford, push them in to the chassis rails from by near hole, fiddle till you drop them through the hole nearest the front rail, then offer up the 500 cooler. You might need to trim the forks slightly unless you use rubber bushes on it. bolt up cooler then refit rad where you might need to shift the mounting bracket slightly backwards, then refit as normal. making sure the water pipes out of the thermostate housing aren't rubbing on any of the pullys.
Cheers
