Default Koni adjustables with 18's

I have koni adjustables with 18" rondells, with 225/40/r18, has anyone else got this setup and had problems with the cup size of the shocks. as the inside wall rub cup, and there is no room to even fit your finger between the tyre and cup. (Im sure this isnt right.).

What was done to correct it, if any has had the same problem.?????

yep did that, just seeing what someone else had done if so.... used a club hammer though. quite sure a rubber hammer wouldnt of done much...

I now have atleast a fingers and a half clearance, but now thinking of going for blistein coilovers...as they have no cups do they.

i done a post on this a couple of weeks ago, iv fitted spacers to mine but still only have about 6mm clearance, wasnt too keen to go the "massage it witha hammer route" so i'll try the spacers and see how i get on.

I had this exact same prob with my 19's and it really pissed me off
I took advice from here and massaged the cups a bit , but have no where near 6 mm clearance- I will have to massage them some more
seems to be a popular problem
