bag in the boot
Some bag under my boot carpet, with hose attached running off to front end of car?? Anyone any idea what it is, or if its meant to be there?

yours is like mine.. a homologation model esc cos
in order for ford to compete in the rally... a certain amount of road going versions of the rally car had to be made... with certain similarities to the works car
the bag is a water injection bag.. to hold water... pumps under the rear seat pump the water to the front of the engine to the intercooler.. where on the left hand side on the exit.. you will see a water jet
its to cool the charge air entering the engine
just remove it and store it somewhere safe if you need to.. deffo keep it and dont sell it or throw it away
