My EsCos temp gauge reads approx 1/3 of the way up the gauge, Is this normal or has any body any ideas where it should run.The heater is nice and warm and the car does not overheat. Any replies would be appreciated . All the best FREGO

with the ignition off and the car cold, the needle should be right off the bottom of the scale, when the ignition is switched on , it should rise to the lowest part of the scale, when running and up to temp it sits around the lower third to half way mark, ive never seen mine go over 3/4 up, at around 2/3 up the fans kick in and bring it back to just under half way.

Mine stays in the middle on the scale all the time with engine warm. Only sometimes e.g. when aircon is trunning (so fan is running) and I'm doing about 120km/h but driving with only little throttle it will drop to 1/3 of scale.

mine doesnt go above halfway, the nearest it gets is on a hot day after a little running befor thermostat opens.. then sits on the lower letter (M???)
