Less than 4k miles ago I fitted a pair of rear wheel bearings , the parts came from my local motor factor. In the last 500 miles they've started to hum. The parts I fitted were qh Quentin hazel parts .
Has anyone any other recommendations on brands that last?
Still available from Ford? Euros do Lucas or Skf?

QH stuff is utter shite now, nothing like what they used to be, they were bought out a long time ago by Tetrosyl. From memory your bearings would be QWB 143

I bought a pair of QH brake discs for the Focus daily and they warped within 200 miles

Dane bearings in the Sierra's yes?
I remember buying sets with metal cages and then all of a sudden they started to make them plastic and they were fine, until you tried to remove them
And then the plastic shattered and you needed a new set
