Default Newbie wondering what people think of this car

I have a kit car which is nicely sorted for track and would consider selling up and buying this.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311609749580

I now know what a 909 shell is and don't care if it is tatty. With these going up in value, me always wanting a cossie powered car, this seems a low on the ladder as i can get.

I would see it as a project but want to track it instantly.

Thoughts?

Looks good fun but not sure how much an unregistered track car will go up in value by...I guess if you could get it road reg on a Q plate that would help but the stigma of a Q (daft as it is) will make people think it has an odd history. Buy it as a fun track car yes but as an investment? Who knows. I guess someone might put a dodgy log book on it but don't think that is ethical. Go for it for the fun factor. Might be hard work to get road reg but could well be worth it and may be a good investment if the others hit £40k - £50k and you have one that you could sell for £25k plus even warts n all?

Thanks for the reply. That one has gone but I may have something nice lined up.

Still a 909 unregistered chassis but it will be set up better for track.

I am from the kit car scene and although I have not IVA a car myself I am keen to see if I can get a 909 on the road. Maybe even age related. . .
