I think you MAY need to change the drop gears in the gearbox but maybe it is close enough to the front ratio?, Give Bara motorsports a call and speak to Bara, he can rebuild the supra diffs with the maxi kit and also advise on the ratio and supply whatever you need, he is a top man and his service is the best.

3.7 & 3.6 are too far apart.
Toyota do have a 47/13 C&P that is the same tooth count as EsCos.
Edit; fixed, now 47/13

JSA. i have a track escort cosworth i am building up and have a supra LSD rear diff to go in it. i have also got a standard supra diff or JZ90 or something with a supposed 3.9 to 1 ratio. it seem you are quite knowledgable in these diffs would the 3.9 ratio crown and pinion fit iob the LSd diff this has a 4.56 i think in it.

It is supposed to make it accelerate faster.
We do need to consider that Cossies have wide spaces between ratios so the turbo can drop off boost, the perfect solution would be a close ratio box. By lowering the final drive you are making all the gears lower BUT the ratios are still wide apart.
I will let you know when mine is finally back on the road...albeit with the skyline box.

My track car too will be skyline 4x4 box and 3.9:1 supra rear diff with 3.9:1 escos front diff ratios. Most parts easier to get here in OZ.
