Default Escort cos immobiliser HELP

I got a large turbo escort cosworth. It has the factory immobiliser fitted. The car starts fine and immobiliser seems to work fine. However when you turn ignition off and arm the car it bleeps at regular intervals. When you turn immobiliser off with the red key fob car starts fine but hissing noise comes from the vent next to where you put the immobiliser key in. Ne ideas? Doing my nut in.

Yeah sorry m8 it is the wipac immobiliser. Doesnt matter whether your driving the car or not the socket where you plug the 3 contact key into hises and crackles and beeps all the time. Any Help would be much appreciated. Is it a hard expensive job to do away with the ford immobiliser?

Turned out that the speaker by the key socket was faulty. Speaker was stripped out and a resistor put in its place job done. Took the guy ten mins! He said not a problem to strip it out jus more time involved coz you got to open the loom up in engine bay to find the wires.
