Anyone know the color code for gloss/flat black on Escort Cosworth?

Escort came orginally in two different shades of black right? Ash black, and gloss or flat?

are color code A2 the gloss black, or can anyone find out what color A2 is? i couldnt find it

those are only 3 options listed on ecat , deffo not panther black , most good paint shop should have colour chips for them

but those long codes aren't under the Hood. i mean the "main" color code...like for an example on my old saff it said "T9 flint grey"

Just get the darkest shade of ford gloss black,mines getting some bits painted and its a perfect match...

im not painting a car, im considering buying a black Escort and wondering if its orginal black or repainted in a non-Ford color

A2 is correct for gloss black escos

A=Black
2=First year it was used on that model (1992)
