Mineral Oil
is it true that on a newly built YB engine that you can run mineral oil 5/ 40 valvoline as the people im dealing with have heard this is what the focus wrc is run on and also do pit work on a wrc escort and say they run it in this car aswell 
is this ok as im sure it should be fully synthetic ant advice would be most helpful thanks in advance people

a brand new build one would probably be ok for running in, but then wants changing for proper fully synthetic stuff. the focus wrc is a TOTALLY differnt engine with almost 20 years of admancement in engine technology being it and it too has its oil changed after every event which might only be a few hundred miles for example.
