Default More escos runnung probs

Hey

After fixing the map sensor fault i noticed it still wasnt right so...

i took all 4 plugs out to find that they ate all covered in soot

and the comp test gave this

1: 6.9
2: 6.7
3: 7.2
4: 8:3

Im gona take the head off to change the gasket and check for cracks.

Its the plugs im bothered about

Any ideas?

Even if your cossie remain standard you should consider to upgrade you head gasket for a GpA one (at least YB0611) and ARP stud and nuts kit the extra cost worth it.
So if you want to go for more power those requiered parts will be in place...

std new stretch bolts with a cmoetic 3 layer gasket.

but befoer whicping it off, if thety are covered in soot, it sounds like overfuelling, so could be the blue ECT sensor at the back of the head tellin gthe ecu the engine is cold all the time and making it run very rich , effecively on choke all the time.

after a run, when its hot, whip the plugs out and check them,, if they are blak and sooty, likelyhood is its overfueling
