When driving with the lights on my speedo is noticably brighter than all the other dials (boost pod, rev counter, temp and fuel). I checked with another escos in our club and all his dials were the same brightness. I altered the dimmer to max and my dials looked the same as the dails the other car but my speedo is brighter. I'm scratching my head at this cos i thought if the invertor was faulty the dial would not light up at all, any ideas?

Yes mine is the same , basicly the speedo will have been changed at some time (maybe the light failed totally) so is showing the correct "new" green look and all the others have faded with age, Mine was replaced as it was in KPH I still have the original one.

Nice 1 Steve, I recall an invoice in the service history from ford saying the the speedometer unit replaiced, that would explain it

Centre of a speedo can be a little bit brighter from the bulb that iluminates milage.
