i am in the middle of it (4x4 saff), and finding these 2 helpful

http://www.escortrscosworth.com/foru...ad.php?p=68596

https://passionford.com/forum/genera...rear-beam.html

I am doing the cheapo method of just using the outer joins in the front 4x4 hubs though.
sure you need a shortened prop on an Escos too.

ive just finished doing mine last weekend, and just some pointers for you, when using the 2wd sump, change the pick up pipe and oil pump to 2wd, as me and a few other people have had problems when fitting the sump, causing the 4x4 pickup pipe to be hitting the crank, and trust me, u dont want to be doing this twice like i did.
Also its either 6 or 8 washers to space the crank sensor, ill have another look and let you know, and no need to change the front hubs, just take the shafts out, 2wd prop will need to be shortened, and gearbox cradle will need to be changed, again ill hunt the part number out as only about £25 from fords.
hope it all goes well for you.
