rally misshap
been out n the lincoln green stages this saturday doing a live recording for lincs fm radio station and on the last stage slid off into a plowed field when the rear arm decided to fold leaving the wheel in this state. think it a weak point so anyone point in the right direction of some up-rated items would be great

Yeah. Post pics of what actually bent. What setup do you have in the rear?
I've bent two of the woopty rear beams on my XR4ti rally car. One in the same manner but not as bad as you have and another in the opposite direction, mostly from landing from big jumps I think. There's a guy in Seattle, WA, William Timmins of Steel Solutions that makes a kit to reinforce the curly rear beam and stock STA for the Sierra. Was thinking the Escort was same unless you have some aftermarket stuff already. Guessing it's not the WRC spec (which would likely be bent trailing or lateral arms) or the magnesium Group A stuff (which would have broke not bent). Blows any way you look at it but at least you didn't end up on the lid with body damage!!!
