Default chrome wing grills

hi brought some chrome wing grills but not to sure how to fit them cos the old plastic grills look luke they are rivited on anyone know how to get them off.

knock the middle of the plastic (clip thingy) out don't loose them as you can re-use them. the rest will pull out then your grills will come off.

you need a small diameter drift. if you look closely you'll see the centre bit that needs knocking out. unless someone has rivited them on. then you need to drill the rivets out. can you get a photo up.

push them out with a small screwdriver, i have them fitted but i used small stainless round top allen screws they real look good.

what you want to do is push the center rod back out from the back of the wing (jack car up at front and turn wheel round on full lock and look in arch at the back of the grill plates) as that way you wont lose the small tube that runs in the center of the clip and expands the rear of the clip out to hold the grill on, just use a small drill bit to push the tube out and then pull the clip
