Default It runs!!! Now what!!

Ok.. I've changed coolant temp sensor, act sensor, phase sensor, lambda sensor, de-mulitiplug'd it and the car still behaves like a fckn kangaroo when it hits 4000rpm! What the hell is next? Starts and drives fine..

Checked all your Vac hoses on the car.

Mine popped one off the inlet manifold and it started driving like that.

Also check your throttle position sensor on the throttle body too, that maybe having an adverse cause?

have you checked the boost level ?? might be a ht lead breaking down or arching.

Worth a try...... 1st.. If mine ever cuts out i go for the boost level 1st, then the
plugs, then the leads and dizzy cap.

Measure the voltage before even considering changing it though, its not that cheap.

Well.
Some news:
Was feeling a bit flush so forked out for a wasted spark conversion by msd. After some idiot ( me!!) managed to solder like an ass the car wouldn't start. After discovering the "professional" work it started fine.

Noticed the phase sensor plug was fitted the wrong way around when checking all the damn sensors. Don't blame me it was like that when I got it.

Well.. went out in the car and after letting it get warm full throttle in second gear. Pulled almost to the limiter then a small judder. Tried third. Judders when it hits 5k-6k. So it's out of "limp home mode". But what the hell?

Plugs or what? didn't boost more than 1,3-1,5 bar so shouldn't be boost cut.

Getting a bit tired now..

no idea what plugs. they came with the car and the guy who sold it claimed they were new... Going to check what you have said. Is there any other reason this can happen? So I know what's next if it isn't the plugs..

Mine done a similar thing, it turned out to be the loom plugs on the N/S/F wing cut them out, untill I could afford for a new loom to be made.
