Dismantling wing mirrors!?
anyone taken there wing mirrors apart (ST)
kinda need to take mine apart so they can be painted, looks a pain in the bum if im honest, to many little screws and little hinges etc.
anyone want a job?

cool.
well took the glass/mirror out earlier and pulled the main car fixing away from the mirror casing, does look a bit awkward but may be able to sort it.
they are now away having a little extra touch being added to them

I´ve done it too - a LITTLE difficult, but if you keep your head cold it can be done without any big problems!
It was close to driving me a little mad, but after yelling a couple of bad word, I succeeded, and mounted my "new" mirrors without problems...
