hi lads

just to put the record striaght ............. the bara striaght cut kit , is not that noisey compaired to other striaght cut boxes

all it sounds like is any "normal " car going in reverse , it's not that intrusive at all

it's liveable in a road car

Hi,about my gearboxes and gearkits....we built this kit in north italy with very good materials.the are actually 3 options.
1. straight cut,new shafts,modified syncro on CNC machine for fast gear change.1st gear its a little longer than standard, 2nd 3rd 4th are shorter and 5th a little longer 168miles at 7000rpm

2.semi-straight helical gears (less Noise),new shafts,modified syncro on CNC machine for fast gear change.1st gear its a little longer than standard, 2nd 3rd 4th are shorter and 5th a little longer 168miles at 7000rpm

3.straight cut,new shafts,modified syncro on CNC machine for fast gear change.all 5 gears are shorter than standard,in this gearbox we use an alloy spacer between gearbox case and transferbox.Ideal for track days and rally.

all gearkit can handle between 500hp 550nm and 600hp 700nm

we offer the full rebuild gearboxes plus fitting gearkit (like new case,new seals,new bearings and fitting gearkit)

Customers send us standard MT75 gearboxes in any conditions and than we return it back in new conditions.

Standard. The clutch might need doing depending on how you drive it. I'm planning on running standard transmission but a AP Racing Organic clutch. Thats with my goal of 350 BHP, fingers crossed.

I have a uprated clutch in there already

we will have a very simular spec mate, what intercooler are u running?

I've got a BT Intercooler/Charge cooler with cold water kit to go on, hopefully this should do the job. The ACT gauge won't lie if its not up to the job.

I've seen on rallycarsforsale.net that oppliger sells this kits/box for 1800 punds... Not 2500!?

sorry just seen this ....... not the sequentail isn't going to happen bara has looked into it

he says thats the barrels for a sequentail to fit in the mt75 casing are too small if he did make one it would phyiscally hurt your hand after 20mins

the next bigger size barrells wouldn't fit in the casing they would have been ideal would have made a nice and easy gear change if the casing was 25mm taller would have been ok and would work out far too much to make a new casing

yes quafie do a sequentail mt75 but it will defo hurt your hand after a while

1800£ is for the standard ratio gearkit,does not include building up!
2500£ is for the short ratio gearkit with extra parts inside gearbox

The oppliger gear kits seem to be a good choice, but what would I like to know is, are they a "straight swap" or does the casing need some mods?

What power you running pal?My standard gearbox let go last year, I was impressed with how long it lasted. 12 months at 330bhp atw 350ft/lbs atw not driven slowly either.
