Default carbon banana pod on its way

looking good to get it back in about a week. mine has been made to suit a secs moniter but can be made to fit the standard clocks .this is being made with the dry lay process which is vacume pressed not the wet lay on fibreglass rubbish that many people are doing.cant wait to get it back and will post pictures up as soon as poss

i pretty much doubt it will be Marcus - as he would need the usual minimum order to start fabricating a mould.

i suspect its a guy from Essex who may have helped this one along

the person who is making these for me is the same person who made the gauge panel for my defis . what barry of cabontec shop doesn't know about carbon isn't worth knowing,he is a true craftsman and perfectonist.i am trying to get a list together of other items people may want just need to know what sort of demand there would be and for what

any idea if the pod will be made in both 4 x 4 twill and 2 x 2 twill ??

it will be made in both 2x2 and 4x4 also matt or gloss finish

marcus made one a couple of yrs ago but wasnt happy with the fit,thats the last i ever heard of it i did badger him about it a couple of times but to no avail

although i think they would look lovely on certain cars the idea of a carbon banana pod just isnt for myself.

having had the dash flocked the idea of having something glossy and sun reflective smack bang on the top of the dash just seems silly to me
